Back to the Children's Museum

Now that Graham can walk more reliably, we ventured back to the children's museum.  Andrew was happy to return and Graham had fun, but he was surprisingly distressed by various parts of the experience.

For example, Graham loves vehicles of all kinds, but in the enormous cars/trucks/buses area, the only thing he really wanted to do was jump into an enclosed ball pit that is used for digging with mechanical excavators (i.e., kids don't play in the ball pit).  So Graham mostly ignored the cars and  clawed at the plexi-glass, pining for the balls.  But we did manage to get this shot:

Then we got into the supermarket area.  I take Graham grocery shopping with me every week, so one might think he would love to push a cart around and pretend to shop.  But instead, he did what he does every week in the real grocery store: whines and begs for crackers.

But despite these snafus, he had fun at his first trip to the museum.  Here he is playing on a mechanical boat with a stuffed owl.
