Andrew liked it, but approached the experience rather solemnly, as he did the garden railway from a few weeks ago. He was more visibly excited by the dog who rode with us on the shuttle back to the car.

Touch a Truck!
Our full morning of activities continued with Touch a Truck, a fundraiser for a local playground wherein children have the opportunity to climb in and around fire trucks, ambulances, and buses. Funniest moment: while waiting to board the school bus shuttle to take us from remote parking, we were surrounded by 2 toddlers who were crying in fear at the prospect of having to ride in the school bus. I think their parents may have misjudged the appeal of this event.
